DESCRIPTION:The following dogs are scheduled to attend this Adoption Day. \nMales Attending\nOne-year-old Ace is fun loving and playful and has an oh so sweet temperament. He’s ready for whatever you want to do. He’ll play quietly with his toys and entertain you as he throws his Kong up in the air and tries to catch it as he bounces it around on the floor. Or go for a 3 mile walk\, let’s go! He would make a good walking or jogging partner. Then kick back and watch TV\, he enjoys that too. He wants to join you in whatever you are doing. Read more… \n \n\nRanger and his brother Phoenix were left at Peninsula Humane Society as ill little puppies who tested positive for Parvo. Our organization agreed to take the puppies if PHS could get them healthy and parvo free. A few weeks later the puppies came to one of our foster homes and spent 5 weeks growing stronger and healthier by the day. Then it was decided the puppies needed to be separated so they could gain individual confidence. They are now in separate foster homes\, with grown up dogs and doing great. He spent his first 5 weeks being fostered with his brother Ranger. Then it was decided that they needed to seperated to avoid bonding too much with each other.  He’s new to being on leash but is interested in the world and not frightened by it. He joined us at our Annual Meeting where everyone got some puppy time. He’ll need a home dedicated to training\, because all the GSDs need that. \n \n\n  \nScar is a handsome\, 1-1/2 year old\, 90+ lb lap dog. He is well-behaved in the house\, potty-trained\, and can be left alone loose for a few hours (so far). DESCRIPTION:The following dogs are scheduled to attend this Adoption Day. \nFemales Attending\nSonora is a sweet busy girl. She sleeps in her crate and is honing her potty training skills in her new foster home. She is comfortable with people and cautious with dogs. As we get to know her better\, we’ll keep you updated. \n  \n \n\nTioga is a sweet\, busy girls who loves to run and play. She’s sleeping in her crate at night and using the dog door at her foster home. She is a puppy and will take lots of time and energy. \n  \n \n  \nMales Attending\nBarkley was taken in as a stray by Stockton Animal Control after being hit by a car. He was found to have a broken front leg. The shelter reached out to us and we found a way to bring him into our program. ) It wasn’t simple.) He will be having surgery to repair the break and a few other housekeeping things\, then he’ll be ready for his forever home.  He was a shelter favorite\, which is why he’s here now. In his first day he tried to climb into his foster mom’s lap\, took well to brushing\, stayed quiet in his x pen and never bothered his splint. His foster mom already thinks he’s a jewel in the rough and can’t wait to meet the family who will adopt him. Stand by for more as he makes his way from rescue to rescued. \n \n\n  \nScar is a handsome\, 1-1/2 year old\, 90+ lb lap dog.
