DESCRIPTION:The following dogs are scheduled to attend this Adoption Day. \nMales Attending\nOne-year-old Ace is fun loving and playful and has an oh so sweet temperament. He’s ready for whatever you want to do. He’ll play quietly with his toys and entertain you as he throws his Kong up in the air and tries to catch it as he bounces it around on the floor. Or go for a 3 mile walk\, let’s go! He would make a good walking or jogging partner. Then kick back and watch TV\, he enjoys that too. He wants to join you in whatever you are doing. Read more… \n \n\nRanger and his brother Phoenix were left at Peninsula Humane Society as ill little puppies who tested positive for Parvo. Our organization agreed to take the puppies if PHS could get them healthy and parvo free. A few weeks later the puppies came to one of our foster homes and spent 5 weeks growing stronger and healthier by the day. Then it was decided the puppies needed to be separated so they could gain individual confidence. They are now in separate foster homes\, with grown up dogs and doing great. Read more… \n \n\nScar is a handsome\, 1-1/2 year old\, 90+ lb lap dog. He is well-behaved in the house\, potty-trained\, and can be left alone loose for a few hours (so far). He rides well in the car\, barks only occasionally\, and only chews on his toys. \nHe has knowledge of the commands: “come”\, “sit’\, ‘down”\, “out”\, “leash’\, and knows his name. Read more…

DESCRIPTION:The following dogs are scheduled to attend this Adoption Day. \nFemales Attending\nAkira is a delight through and through: All 80 pounds of her. Her main goal in life is to be a good companion and attached to her people. She is a puppy at heart; she gleefully plays ball games and prances around the yard and even plays nicely with some other pups. Her on- leash work needs some refinement but she listens and verbal corrections are usually enough. She is a calm\, easy going dog who greets people gently and appropriately and is not reactive with other dogs unless provoked. Akira has moderate prey drive\, as observed with squirrels\, birds and rabbits. Read more… \n \n\nCharley is a normal puppy with normal puppy behavior. Charley is not aggressive in any way\, and loves to snuggle in various pretzel positions. She responds well to being in her crate with a nice soft bone\, and can sit nicely while being presented with her food. She takes treats nicely. Charley plays well with her two foster siblings\, and takes direction from them appropriately. She likes toys and plays with them\, but does not yet seek them out. She is good in the house and able to be left alone for several hours without making any kind of mess or noise. She sleeps on her bed at night. She is curious with strangers and joyful with children.
