We began fostering Kustos in early March 2023, from a family that had taken him nearly 2 years ago, but now are no longer able to keep pets due to their living situation. Kustos is a neutered male German Shepherd, approx 5 years old, weighs 77lbs, and is fully vaccinated. Kustos is a sweet dog with a gentle demeanor, generally well behaved and has some grasp of basic commands like 'sit'. He is affectionate and likes to spend time with his favorite people, lounging and taking it easy nearby. He loves belly rubs, and his favorite toy is a pig squeaker toy that he likes to squeak and toss, or a ball. 

Kustos previously lived in a household with 2 smaller dogs, and got along fine with them. He would do great in a home where he is the only dog, or in a household with smaller dogs. He is leash trained, house trained, and can use a pet door.
