When you inquire about a dog, the following questions might be helpful:

1. Why are you giving up your dog?

2. Has the dog ever bitten, nipped or 'gone after' anyone?

3. Does it have any health problems? Who is your vet? May I contact him/her?

4. Where did you get the dog? Does it have papers?

5. Does your dog have any training? Is it housebroken? crate trained?

6. Is the dog left alone for long periods? What does it do? Bark? Dig? Chew? Is it an inside or outside dog? Where does it sleep?

7. How does the dog behave with adults, children? Other dogs? Cats?

8. Is your dog mellow? calm? energetic? protective? affectionate?

Bobby is a neutered male GSD who is 4.5 years old and weighs 94.5lb.

Originally meant to be named Boba, this sensitive giant became Bobby instead.Bobby is a very shy boy who was born on November 18, 2019.

Due to the nature of his foundational years being at the peak of the approaching pandemic and isolation, Bobby is very anxious and sensitive to human & furry strangers. Slow, calming introductions work best for him so patience is key with Bobby. However, once he's introduced and acquainted he will be a wonderful and loyal companion to you or furry buddies. He remembers faces very well and never forgets, making initial introductions critical to his well-being. Additionally,
Bobby has experience with other dogs but does best with medium to large sized dogs.

Bobby has undergone obedience training along with 14-week boarding using an e-collar. He is housebroken, crate-trained, potty-trained, and understands basic commands. He is both an inside/outside dog. A fun fact about Bobby is that he is very specific about where he uses the restroom so he will not make a mess.
