Danville Adoption Day

March 21 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

The following dogs are scheduled to attend this Adoption Day.

Females Attending

Allie is about 4 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, chipped, and ready to be adopted! She was found running loose with another dog and suffered a broken leg after being hit by a car. Her owners were located and unable to afford her surgery, so they surrendered her to VCA East in Santa Rosa. A good Samaritan stepped in and paid for the surgery, and the vet hospital reached out to us. She is a sweet dog who wants to be close to her people, like in your lap. She loves to carry around toys and will chase a ball. She is potty-trained and crate-trained, but we’re not sure she’s ever been walked on a leash before! Her foster home is working on training, and it will be a must for her adoptive family to do the same. She had small children in her previous family and another dog. We do not know about her behavior around cats. She will do her best to mesmerize you with her soft brown eyes and talk you out of your Cheetos, she likes them better than dog treats. Read more…

Males Attending

One-year-old Ace is fun loving and playful and has an oh so sweet temperament. He’s ready for whatever you want to do. He’ll play quietly with his toys and entertain you as he throws his Kong up in the air and tries to catch it as he bounces it around on the floor. Or go for a 3 mile walk, let’s go! He would make a good walking or jogging partner. Then kick back and watch TV, he enjoys that too. He wants to join you in whatever you are doing. Read more…
