Females Attending

Luna is a sweet 1 year old female, who came to us through a Good Samaritan. She is well-mannered. Gets along with cats, older kids, and a free-flying parrot. Luna is housetrained and crate trained, though she’s not using her crate with this foster. She likes car rides and walks in the neighborhood. She is on the smaller side, about 40 lbs. She gets along with other dogs, with a proper introduction. She likes to hold a tennis ball, not necessasarily chase one. She’s nice to her toys and blankets, keeping them intact for the most part. Males Attending

Alastor was relinquished to the Peninsula Humane Society after suffering injuries from being struck by a vehicle. The injuries resulted in the loss of one of his eyes. GSRNC was asked to take Alastor in and one of our amazing fosters stepped up. Alastor is being well cared for, he is being given time to heal and grow a little, His foster parent will ease into working with his manners and skills as he learns more about Alastor each day. Cooper is “Coming Soon” but we want to show him off!  Super Duper Cooper is a 4-month old puppy, found abandoned with his sister, Charlotte at 8 weeks.  They immediately came into our program and have been thriving ever since.  Cooper has shown himself to be a confident, intelligent, outgoing youngster.  He loves to meet everyone on his walks and shows appropriate deference to dogs on his daily walks.  He is cautions around deer and wild turkeys, just staring at them with mild curiosity.  Read More…

Scar is a handsome, plush-coated two-year-old with loads of energy and lust for life, who always has a happy look on his face.  He likes people and all the attention they give but takes a minute or two to warm up to strangers. He loves to play fetch, wrestle, and cuddle. He is easy to train and has responded well in training class and alone.  He is LARGE and comes across as intimidating when he barks but he calms down easily. Sterling is a super sweet 7 month old petite male who greets everyone with a loving gaze and welcoming tail wag. In his foster home he loves to follow his foster parents around and loves to be near them for pets and cuddles. He is really affectionate. Read More…
